As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Delivery of detailed and high-quality solar design solutions.
Working alongside Business Development Managers, product specialists, and technical leads to grow the commercial solar pipeline.
Leading the design of bespoke energy solutions, responsible for planning, designing, and managing projects.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence best practices.
Capturing and documenting technical knowledge and learnings to support continuous improvement and drive high performance.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate individual with experience and deep technical knowledge of the solar and building industries, ideally focused on the design and installation of large-scale solar systems. You may currently be working in a similar role looking for a move into a larger organisation to be exposed to more in-depth and bespoke designs. You will hold a relevant tertiary engineering qualification or related professional registration.
You will complement your technical skills with excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to prepare technical presentations for a diverse audience is necessary. We are looking for someone with a passion for the industry who has the desire to share their knowledge and experience as we grow the team.
