Who You Are You are an engaging, challenge-ready sales development representative, account manager, or automation software expert with some software sales experience. You have a passion for technology and would like to build your career selling complex automation solutions to customers. You understand the core business processes and systems and ideally have had some experience with finance and ERP systems, such as SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.
The Role The successful candidate will join our Process Automation team in Auckland and work alongside our Process Automation Consultants to help expand our Process Automation client base by selling Esker and Microsoft Automation solutions. We expect a successful Associate Consultant to learn and grow into an independent Process Automation Consultant within 12-18 months.
The Associate Consultant's responsibilities include:
Prospecting and finding new leads via various outbound channelsMethodical opportunity qualification, engaging business stakeholders to understand internal processes and budget/ROI requirementsHelping tailor and present relevant industry insights to customersSetting up and configuring customized demonstrations for prospective customersAssisting in creating customer-facing sales documents, including proposals, presentations, and business casesIdeally, you have: 1-2 years of experience selling software-based solutionsPatience and resilience for cold callingGood understanding of the sales process and various methodologiesThe ability to engage with senior business customers, understand their challenges, and provide valuable insightsStrong communication, business writing, and presentation skillsA curious problem-solving mind and a professional customer-centric approachThe drive to excel and ambition to deliver outstanding results for your customers, your team, and yourselfThis is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the world's leading innovators within a diverse, open-minded team with significant growth ambitions and potential.
