Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Tauranga, NZ For interstate candidates, one thing to note is that this role requires either full relocation or regular travel to Tauranga. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement software for IoT devices, including gateways, nodes, and mesh networks.Work with LoRaWAN or similar long-range wireless communication protocols to ensure efficient, reliable data transmission.Design and optimise software for NRF or ESP32 microcontrollers, ensuring high performance and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded solutions into larger systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise software and hardware to meet performance and reliability standards.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.Key Requirements: Proven experience with LoRaWAN or other IoT protocols, including knowledge of gateways, nodes, and mesh networks.Strong software development skills, with experience working on NRF or ESP32 microcontrollers.Solid understanding of long-range wireless networks and their applications in IoT environments.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.Experience with debugging, testing, and optimising embedded systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.Please reach out to ****** for more info.
