Social Workers In Schools Manager

Iosis operates as a multi-disciplinary, multicultural, Christian, community service provider with a vision of transforming family life for good.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of 11 Social Workers working in 15 primary and high schools in Manurewa and Papakura.You will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision by encouraging effective performance through the management of quality systems, coaching and development of staff and integration of their work and roles within the school environment.
You will also play a vital role in maintaining and developing our relationships with our external partners in our work with both community and statutory organisations.You will have a passion for children, the ability to create strong relationships with school principals and as there is quite a bit of administration you will need excellent attention to detail too!To be successful in this role you will have:Strong leadership and relationship management skills demonstrated through previous experiencesSolid understanding of issues relating to child protection, family violence, drugs and alcohol, relationships and parentingExcellent administration and communication skillsStrong computer skills with previous experience using a databaseQualification in Social Work and current registration with a professional bodyThe competency and character to enhance the values, culture and practices of a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural Christian agencySo if you are looking for a challenge and our values and mission of transforming family life for good aligns with yours then please submit your CV and a cover letter to ******.
