Social Worker - Sexual Harm Crisis Support Service The position is - 40 hours per week (negotiable), Monday to Friday .
Full Time equivalent: Full Time A pre-employment police vetting and safety check are conditions of employment for this position.

The role We are looking for a Social Worker to bring their experience to this close-knit team.
This role is within the SHCSS and involves Crisis Intervention for people who have been affected by sexual harm by providing a safe and high quality response to clients during and immediately following a crisis.

The ideal candidate will have: A recognised qualification and registration in Social Work, Counselling or similar .
Be registered with a professional body and have a current Practicing Certificate (or be in the process of obtaining).
Experience in the delivery of psychosocial crisis support services that take a trauma informed approach.
Training and experience in delivering clinical and evidence based interventions.
Risk assessment and Safety Planning formulation.
The ability to work in a culturally responsive manner that demonstrates a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi including experience with Kaupapa Maori models of practice.
Experience of working collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
You may be required to drive so a FULL NZ driver's licence is required.
To be considered for this position you must already be located and resident in NZ have either NZ citizenship/residency or a valid NZ work visa.
