Your skills and expertise could make a real difference in improving health outcomes for mokopuna Maori and their whanau.The day-to-day mahi is a dynamic mix of working with mokopuna and whanau, raising the capability and capacity of PICU staff, and escalating systemic inequities.Working amongst a team of dedicated Maori clinicians and Tangata Tiriti clinicians, there will be opportunities for leadership and professional development.
As a part of Ringa Atawhai, you will also become part of TamaAriki Ora (Starship Maori Health) and will enjoy the added benefits of whanaungatanga, training, and being part of a movement to protect the integrity of whakapapa and uphold the divinity of our mokopuna.This groundbreaking new multidisciplinary team of clinicians (Ringa Atawhai) is dedicated to supporting mokopuna and whanau who are admitted to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Starship.
You will work together to assist whanau with wraparound services that ensure they have the best possible experience and outcomes.As part of this dynamic team, you will also play a pivotal role in expanding the capacity and capability of our PICU workforce.
