Part-time Permanent Social Work Position: 1.0 FTE (80hrs / fortnight) Allied Health Inpatient Team North Shore Hospital Waitemata District We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our team.
You will provide bio-psycho-social assessments and therapeutic social work interventions with adults across the emergency department, acute and rehabilitation wards at North Shore Hospital.
The position will be mainly based in our emergency department. The days of work will be Tuesday to Saturday. The successful candidate will be client-centred in their approach and have excellent risk assessment skills.
Proven experience working in the areas of Family Harm, Care and Protection of children, and Safeguarding Adults is preferred.
You will be an effective communicator and confident working in a high-paced dynamic environment. You will enjoy working within a learning organisation that encourages your professional development.
We provide regular professional supervision and ongoing support and training opportunities. You must hold a SWRB recognised Social Work degree and have a current annual practising certificate.
ANZASW membership and at least three years previous hospital experience is preferred.
