Right now, there is an opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join the Allied Health team who provide services across in-patient, outpatient and community care services in South Canterbury.
Reporting to the Professional Leader, day to day this role provides safe and clinically effective assessment, either within a specific or across a broad range of areas.
As part of the social work department, the role works collaboratively with colleagues, other allied staff, and services.
The successful candidate will be able to focus on assessment of needs such as situational, socio-emotional, and cultural along with delivery of requisite support.
Additionally, liaison with a range of parties and sound record keeping is essential to ensure both continuity of care and management of risk.
