In this role you will work with and have the support of our multidisciplinary teams and will also work collaboratively with our partners in the health, NGO, criminal justice and corrections services.The Social Worker role with the Invercargill Forensic Mental Health Team provides comprehensive assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and monitoring of people identified as having moderate to severe mental illness and associated psychosocial issues.You'll bring to this role previous experience in a mental health social work position, ideally in a forensic community setting, and have excellent communication and time management skills. You will be a team player and will demonstrate commitment and innovation in your work.Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for the role you should have social work registration with the New Zealand Social Work Registration Board (SWRB).
