We help adult and child victims become safer and stay safer, raise awareness and recognition of family violence, and deliver effective programmes to help prevent and eliminate violence in the home.Te Kowhiringa I The OpportunityWorking from our Auckland offices, in the community and our refuge centres, on a day to day basis you will be responding to victims in crisis situations, liaising with a wide range of external agencies to put in place and monitor plans to ensure their immediate and ongoing safety. Able to contribute to a on-call roster and work outside of hours from time to time (compensated accordingly). We will look at different shifts if you are wanting to work weekends only or a Wednesday to Sunday roster or late shifts.Nga pukenga kei a koe I Your Skills and ExperienceYou will be a qualified, registered and experienced Social Worker with proven family violence sector experience (2 years+).
