Social Worker
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service
Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth
Permanent Position, up to Full time available
Our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team is currently looking for a skilled and passionate mental health Social Worker to join our team.
What you'll do with your time
Undertake all components of key working, including comprehensive assessment, risk assessment and management, wellness and treatment planning
Provide client-centred care, utilising evidence-based treatment strategies including, where appropriate, talking therapies
Coordinate care at the right time with input from external providers
Assist across the wider team where needed.
Mou - About you
Successful candidates will have:
Registered Social Worker with Current Practicing Certificate.
Strong background and experience working with children and young people as well as mental health & addictions;
Ability to work under pressure, be a good team player and positively contribute to service delivery;
Be prepared to travel across the Taranaki rohe to meet the needs of our people.
