Our services are offered in Rakiura (Stewart Island), Bluff, Invercargill, Otago and surrounding areas. About the Role - Mo te tungaThe purpose of this role is to ensure the effective delivery of social service contracts, through service delivery planning and implementation, monitoring of services, collation of data and meeting funder reporting requirements and accountabilities.You will provide support to the management team and kaimahi by providing professional leadership to ensure all service delivery requirements of social services are being met successfully.The role requires you to provide leadership to, and management of Kaimahi delivering a range of services within Social Services. As Team Leader you have the responsibility to ensure your team is well supported to effectively deliver a range of services and programs including, (i.e. Youth, Justice, Whanau Tautoko and Whanau Navigation). With your support your team will deliver the best service they can to individuals and whanau through supportive cultural engagement practices, and professional service delivery.Ideally, you would have the following:Proven experience in effectively leading and managing peopleExperience at a team leader level in the operations and service delivery aspects social or health services sector within a non-government organisation and or comparable organisationProven practical background in process planning - how to set up systems and processes to ensure efficient service delivery with a focus on quality and risk managementDemonstrated ability to work in collaborative peer and other stakeholder relationshipsExperience in the development, preparation and monitoring of service delivery performance measures and of reporting against theseExperience in leading and managing a team successfully during a period of changeExperience of working within a Maori community settings within SouthlandThis is a full-time position the hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.
