About Vibe Vibe is a Youth One Stop Shop delivering holistic health and wellbeing services to young people in Te Awa Kairangi, supporting them to thrive and be active participating members of our community. We achieve awesome outcomes by building relationships with trust and integrity, focusing on seeing our rangatahi succeed through supporting them to realise their own strengths and resources. About the role Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Social Services Manager plays a key role in the senior leadership team, ensuring the effective delivery of the organisation's social services. You'll need to be strategic in community engagement, an experienced leader fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and support. You'll have the opportunity to innovate and ensure responsiveness to the emerging needs and aspirations of young people in Te Awakairangi. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of social services professionals to deliver impactful programs and support services Develop and implement innovative strategies to address the diverse needs of young people in our community Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a strengths-based and empowering approach in all interactions Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements A relevant social services qualification and professional registration Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous staff management experience Proven background in the provision and management of social services Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others Commitment to youth health, development, and our organisational values. Person Profile Strong leadership capabilities with proven staff management experience Commitment to supporting young people to fulfill their potential Relevant social service qualification and professional registration Knowledge of government contracts, delivery, compliance, and reporting Collaborative approach with cultural awareness and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Effective decision-making, relationship building, and networking skills.
