Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Social sciences We are seeking an inspiring and passionate teacher starting term 1, 2025 within our social sciences learning area. Successful candidates must have an excellent working knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and be highly student-centered to accelerate learning. The ability to teach more than one senior NCEA Social Science subject is an advantage. There is the opportunity to take a leadership role within the learning area and this would be negotiated based on key leadership attributes such as experience, vision, and ability to manage curriculum delivery. The base salary for trained and registered teachers is in section 4.1.1 of the STCA, and is dependent on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
