The ability to teach more than one senior NCEA Social Science subject is an advantage.There is the opportunity to take a leadership role within the learning area and this would be negotiated based on key leadership attributes such as experience, vision, and ability to manage curriculum delivery. The base salary for trained and registered teachers is in section 4.1.1 of the STCA, and is dependent on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
