Social Science Teacher

This full-time, permanent position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 academic year. Applicants with a New Zealand teaching registration and subject strengths are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have belief in the ability of young people, a commitment to biculturalism, and embrace a student-centered philosophy of teaching. You will be expected to demonstrate culturally responsive practice and participate in the extracurricular life of the school. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $51,358 to $90,000 depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience.
