Social Media Specialist

Sport New Zealand Ihi Aotearoa is the crown agency that helps keep our country's sport and recreation system thriving, from grassroots to elite sport.
We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage and drive our social channels, from Meta to LinkedIn to TikTok. This role involves bringing your creative flair to content creation, managing production and posting schedules, and monitoring customer engagement.
You will have wide-ranging influence across strategy, operational delivery, and content management for the Sport NZ and High Performance Sport NZ (HPSNZ) brands, supporting a variety of interesting campaigns and projects - both public and sector-facing.
The successful individual will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, with expertise in all aspects of modern social media marketing techniques. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be skillful at multimedia content creation, and be confident in stakeholder management at all levels.
