We are on the lookout for a Fixed Term Employee, offering cover for parental leave. Our preferred start date is prior to Christmas and would ideally be for 12 months, recommencing in early January 2025, when we return from our company closedown.
As our interim Social Media Specialist, you will deliver consistent, brand-aligned marketing focused experience across all digital and social marketing touch points. Working in the Global Marketing team, you'll liaise and work with internal teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to drive and deliver timely, accurate, and usable content for targeted social mediums from technical to promotional.
Working with a top-down approach, you will collaborate with our internal stakeholders and brand agency to inform the creative direction with a focus on paid & organic search. This is both a strategic and hands-on delivery role.
You will be responsible for various global social media channels across multiple markets; growing social media following, engagement, and brand awareness. You will lead both organic and paid social media planning with our various global markets.
That's the role so who are you? You may be an intermediate level specialist with 3-5 years of experience, preferably gained via social or media agencies. Understand the importance and strategy behind content, messaging, channel fit, audience targeting, and investment in paid social media activity. Used to owning the budget, budget tracking, presenting to clients, or internal teams, both approach and reporting. Able to optimize, report on, and plan content based on what is performing best and why. Confident and comfortable with presenting to a range of stakeholders across multiple markets and functions (marketing and non-marketing). Hands-on with tools like Meta Business Manager, publishing tools, and understanding social media paid strategy. Social media experience across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. Knowledge on how to plan, optimize, and report on these channels.
