**Job Description:**

Liberty Mutual Insurance Group is seeking a motivated and adaptable Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a part-time remote position based in Auckland, NZ, ideal for someone starting their career in social media strategy and management. As the Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence across various platforms, engaging our audience, and supporting our corporate goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Content Creation & Strategy:**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Liberty Mutual's brand and business objectives.
- Create engaging, high-quality content across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, focusing on text, images, and video.
- Schedule and post content using social media management tools, ensuring timely and relevant postings.

2. **Audience Engagement:**
- Foster strong relationships with our online community by responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor social media platforms for customer feedback, inquiries, and discussions about Liberty Mutual, addressing concerns and questions as needed.

3. **Analytics & Reporting:**
- Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and posts, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing engagement, reach, and growth metrics, demonstrating ROI on social media initiatives.

4. **Collaborative Efforts:**
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaign concepts, executing promotional activities that amplify our brand and generate leads.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure unified messaging and brand consistency across all communication channels.

5. **Trend Monitoring & Adaptation:**
- Stay current with social media trends, user behavior, and emerging platforms, adapting strategies to maintain relevance and engagement.
- Help identify new opportunities for brand collaboration, partnerships, and influencer outreach.

6. **Crisis Management:**
- Assist in managing the company's online reputation by addressing negative comments, reviews, or feedback with a level-headed and strategic approach.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- **Driven & Adaptable:** A proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects while adjusting to changing priorities.

**Soft Skills:**
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a willingness to find solutions collaboratively.
- Strong cooperation skills, engaging effectively with team members and stakeholders.
