This entry-level position is perfect for a recent graduate or individual with a passion for social media and a desire to grow their career in digital marketing.
As a key member of the team, you will help enhance our online presence and engage with our community through innovative content, strategic planning, and active participation.
#### Key Responsibilities - **Content Creation:** Develop engaging and creative content (text, images, videos) tailored to various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, that reflect our brand voice and values.
- **Community Engagement:** Monitor, respond to, and engage with our online community, addressing inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, while fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- **Strategy Development:** Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase followers, and promote company initiatives.
- **Analytics and Reporting:** Track and analyze social media metrics and performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
Prepare reports to present findings and recommend improvements.
- **Research Trends:** Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for content and engagement.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the marketing team to synchronize social media activities with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach.
- **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in content creation and delivery.
- **Brand Advocacy:** Represent TravelCenters of America in a knowledgeable and positive manner across all social media platforms, advocating for the brand's mission and values.
#### Requirements - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Personality Traits:** We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.
- **Soft Skills:** - Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent research skills to stay up to date with social media trends and industry news.
- Great communication skills both verbal and written, with an eye for detail.
- **Technical Skills:** Basic understanding of social media platforms and tools (e.g., scheduling software, graphic design tools) is an advantage.
Familiarity with photo and video editing software (like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
is a plus.
- **Availability:** Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed to engage with the online community effectively.
