### Job Description:

U.S. Bancorp is seeking a dynamic and talented Social Media Manager to join our innovative team in Auckland. As a pivotal part of our marketing department, you will oversee and enhance our social media presence, executing strategies that align with our brand's objectives and resonate with our target audience. This role demands an energetic and dedicated professional who excels in both creative and analytical capacities.

### Key Responsibilities:

1. **Social Media Strategy Development:**
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with U.S. Bancorp's business objectives.
- Identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform future strategies and adjustments.

2. **Content Creation and Management:**
- Create compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, video production, communications) to produce high-quality visual and written content.

3. **Community Engagement:**
- Actively engage with our online community by moderating discussions, responding to comments, and answering inquiries in a timely manner.
- Foster positive relationships with both current and potential customers through proactive outreach and engagement efforts.

4. **Market Research and Trends:**
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure U.S. Bancorp remains relevant and competitive.
- Analyze competitor social media strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.

5. **Analytics and Reporting:**
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports to share insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Utilize social media analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize content strategies.

6. **Campaign Management:**
- Plan and execute social media campaigns tied to key initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with external agencies and influencers as needed to amplify campaign reach.

7. **Brand Compliance:**
- Ensure all social media content adheres to U.S. Bancorp's brand guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and manage brand reputation across all social media channels.

### Requirements:

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within the financial services or technology sectors.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social), graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- **Personality Traits:**
