Your new role
The role of Social Media Manager is to lead the development and execution of the social media strategy to drive reach and brand distinction in the New Zealand marketplace. Key tasks:
Use social listening and analytics to develop a world-class social media and content strategy brought to life across key social channels to drive cultural relevance and brand preference
Design, develop, execute, and report on editorial calendars
Shoot, produce and edit content to bring to life an always on stream of content for the feed
Leverage cultural and trending moments to produce content that drives brand relevance
Use social listening, analytics mixed with creative flair to design content that drives engagement
Analyse and report social media activities monthly
Research, develop and expand the brand presence on emerging channels such as TikTok
Provide copywriting, editing support across key channels, website content and undertake other key projects as required
Manage and collaborate with content creators and Influencers to create credible user-generated content and drive brand amplification across key audience segments
Work with instructors and club teams to plan and create exciting and engaging branded content for social media
Collaborate with colleagues across the marketing team to ensure consistent brand execution across treatments and channels
Lead brainstorms with key cross-functional players to maximise reach across channels
Robust project management skills, including the ability to multitask effectively
Demonstrated success in developing collaborative relationships to drive tangible results
Experience feeding into or creating creative briefs for social campaigns
What you'll need to succeed

You are driven, organised and level-headed with a Bachelors degree and at least 6–8 years of relevant social media experience
Experience working for a high-profile consumer brand
Proven track record of finding innovative ways of storytelling via social media campaigns and driving engagement via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
Experience managing content creators and Influencers
Editing experience in Premiere Pro and epic photography skills
You are known for your writing talent
You are cool with ambiguity and can adapt when things change
You enjoy working at pace
You build relationships quickly and have a knack for uncovering great stories
