We've got an exciting opportunity for a Social Media and Performance Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing Digital team at our Support Office in Newmarket, Auckland. We have 40+ stores across 3 brands (Merchant 1948, Mi Piaci and Deuce) in both New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia. Key Responsibilities: Digital Campaign Management: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and engagement across all digital channels, including Google Ads and Meta.Social Media Oversight: Manage social media platforms for Merchant 1948 and Mi Piaci, focusing on performance analysis and audience building while implementing effective strategies on Meta.Budget Management: Collaborate with agencies on budget pacing, ensuring campaigns are set up correctly for maximum effectiveness.Keyword Research: Conduct proactive keyword research to inform campaign strategies, translating insights into actionable recommendations.Sales Reporting & Insights: Analyse sales reports and trade insights to identify actionable opportunities, optimising campaigns based on performance data.Audience Targeting: Leverage Klaviyo and other e-commerce marketing tools to identify customer segments, enabling precise and effective marketing strategies.Engagement Advocacy: Champion engagement, growth, and ROI for both organic and paid channels, always prioritising the customer journey.Content Development Support: Assist the digital marketing team in creating content for our website and email channels. What We're Looking For: 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in retail, with a track record of driving e-commerce and in-store sales.Strong expertise in Google Ads and Meta, with hands-on campaign implementation experience.Passion for digital ad tech and a solid understanding of data, social media, and paid advertising.Attention to detail with the ability to derive insights from trade and e-commerce reports.Excellent communication skills to craft engaging stories and convey brand messages.Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager and Business Manager, along with experience managing Paid Search accounts.Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.Effective time management with a commitment to meeting deadlines and budgets.Growth mindset and openness to feedback.Alignment with our core values: Accountable, Inspiring, Integrity, Inclusive, Innovative, and Proactive.
