The Media and Communications team at New Zealand Police play a meaningful role in telling stories and communicating to our people, our partners, and the public about what Police are doing. The purpose of the Media and Communications group is to enable us to deliver 'Our Business' through effective communications.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Communications Advisor - Campaigns to join and support our award-winning Marketing and Brand team who act as champion for the Police brand with the overall aim of raising trust and confidence in NZ Police.
The Marketing and Brand team ensure the Police brand is protected and enhanced in all external engagement including advertising, social media, and relevant marketing, with the overall aim of raising trust and confidence and customer satisfaction in NZ Police.
Our Marketing and Brand team covers recruitment marketing, marketing and brand, social media, reality TV, video, and design. We're seeking someone with a proven track record in creating and managing successful advertising and marketing strategies, especially in recruitment marketing within the public sector.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to become a key player in shaping our organization's narrative. As a Senior Communications Advisor - Campaigns, you'll lead efforts in recruitment-focused marketing.
Your role will directly impact our organization's recruitment objectives, requiring expertise in managing in-house campaign development and delivery. Additionally, you'll leverage your experience working with external partners to develop and deliver impactful advertising and marketing campaigns.

Manage tactical delivery of Police's commercial and partnership advertising programmes working with other internal and external partners, including recruitment advertising and multi-agency campaigns,Communicate the vision, purpose, and values of Police to external stakeholders and the public, through advertising and marketing.He aha taau e kawe mai | What you'll bring Whilst we are looking for skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role, we also place high importance on your state of mind, the alignment of your values with ours, your ability to contribute to and build high performing teams, and the way that you lead yourself or others.
Experience creating and managing successful advertising and marketing strategies and recruitment marketing in the public sector.Experience managing in-house campaign development and delivery.Experience working with external partners to develop and deliver advertising and marketing campaigns.Experience in targeted digital marketingUnderstanding of AOG standards and best practise.This role is set at Individual Contributor level, this means your key purpose is "to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business".

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $110,425 and $127,997 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
