We are currently accepting applications from qualified Level 1 or 2 instructors.Join us full-time in Queenstown and immerse yourself in the unique mountain environments of The Remarkables and Coronet Peak.About Queenstown SnowsportsOur team is dedicated to delivering exceptional alpine experiences to our guests throughout the winter season, which extends from Mid-June to Mid-October at The Remarkables and Mid-June to End of September at Coronet Peak.Guided by the values of Manaakitanga, Kaitiakitanga, and Whanaungatanga, encapsulated in 'Love It, Live It, Share It,' we prioritize care, respect, environmental stewardship, and fostering meaningful connections.What You'll Experience as a Member of Our Queenstown Snowsports TeamJoining an international team of skilled instructors, trainers, and coaches.Involvement in group, private lessons, and multi-day programs with a commitment to delivering high-value, high-quality experiences.Progressing guests through a clear and focused lesson pathway, emphasizing fun, progress, and adventure.Adaptability to the dynamic New Zealand environment, ensuring each day brings a new and exciting challenge.Key ResponsibilitiesFlexibility to adapt to the ever-changing environment and meet the needs of the Leadership Team.Collaboration with the wider mountain whanau, assisting with various operational duties.Commitment to continuous personal and professional development, engaging in weekly training opportunities.Understanding that working hours are weather and condition-dependent, with a commitment to maximizing scheduled days through our advanced scheduling system.Qualifications and RequirementsCurrent Membership to the New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance or foreign equivalent (e.g., BASI, PSIA/AASI, PSIC, CSIA/CASI, AMSI, IASI, APSI, DDS, OSSV, ENSA).Level 1 and/or Level 2 instructors' certification.The legal right to work in New Zealand (e.g., NZ Passport, Aus Passport, NZ Working Holiday Visa, NZ Permanent Resident).Previous instructing and coaching experience preferred.Additional qualifications and experience outside the main sport/discipline are advantageous.Application ProcessPlease upload your current association membership and qualifications to the additional documents section of your application.Upload your current visa if applicable.Successful applicants will undergo vetting by NZ Police (conducted by NZSki on your behalf).Initial screening will lead to a video-recorded interview within 5 days of receiving the invitation.Seize this opportunity to be a part of an extraordinary team, sharing your passion for snowsports in one of the most stunning locations in the world, Queenstown!
