If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have a full driver's licence, then this role would suit you! We currently have a vacancy for a Small Plant Operator to join our high-performing Auckland Toru team.
What does a Small Plant Operator do you ask?
You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities around West Auckland including (and we will train you if you're not an expert); edging, weed eating, push mowing, blowing and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community, where you will be a highly valued member of the team! At times you may be required to help the wider team with other tasks such as spraying.
Who we are looking for
Ideally, we would love someone who has experience operating small plant equipment; however, this is not a must. As long as you are a hard worker, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in, then you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:
A clean and current class 1 driver's licence
Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your teammates needs to be second nature
A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Tonnes of motivation with a strong desire to get this job done
Physically fit as this role requires lots of moving around
