Skilled Tradesperson

Location: Otahuhu, South Auckland
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM start
Shifts: 10-12 hours
Pay Rate: $33 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tradesperson to join our team in Otahuhu. If you have a strong mechanical background and a passion for quality work, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Perform welding and piping tasks to high standards
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Execute various mechanical tasks as needed
Work at heights safely and effectively
Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a trades role
Proficiency in welding and piping techniques
Knowledge of working at heights protocols
Experience operating EWP preferred
Site Safe certification preferred but not essential
Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
