Our client, a leading construction company in Wellington, is seeking experienced skilled labourers and hammerhands for temporary, ongoing roles. These positions offer the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects across the region, with the potential for long-term assignments based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with general labouring on sites
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Work from construction plans and specifications.
Ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized worksite.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience working in the construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to different work environments.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
Own tools are an advantage but not required.
A valid Site Safe card is highly desirable.
