Skilled Labourer

Kirimana Consultants are looking for full-time Skilled Labourers in the civil construction industry based in Auckland. Projects will vary from 6-12 months with opportunities to extend. If you have experience in civil infrastructure and are committed to building safer communities, we want to hear from you!

About You:
You bring 1-2 years of civil infrastructure experience and a keen understanding of Health & Safety regulations. You pride yourself on producing high-quality work and have the ability to read and interpret construction plans to assist the Site Supervisor in project delivery. You're a team player, take direction well, and are dedicated to achieving project success. You are available to work 40+ hours per week (Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays depending on the project). You have a strong work ethic, are reliable and show commitment to your team.

About the Job:
Setting up edge protection, scaffolding, barriers and temporary structures for site preparation
Digging trenches, earthworks and pipelaying
Assisting the Site Supervisor with installation of structures such as steel beams, columns, concrete, or retaining walls
Maintenance and repair work to existing pipelines and structures
Following the safety procedures on site, wearing the correct PPE at all times, and being inducted onto the relevant projects as required
Ensure all equipment and tools are looked after and taken care of while on site

Requirements:
1-2 years' experience in civil infrastructure.
Valid Class 1 Full driver's license.
Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident and legally allowed to work in New Zealand.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Provide references to verify your experience.
Site Safe Civil Passport, Confined Spaces, and Working at Heights training are advantages but not essential.
