Skilled Joiner / Cabinetmaker / Craftsperson Join a large, well-established South Island joinery business that's still growing. You'll work alongside a friendly team of 16 joiners and own your jobs. Build and assemble various joinery across kitchens, stairs, wardrobes, vanities, and bespoke timber work. Enjoy a great team culture and banter.
Working in a well-equipped and stocked factory, you'll receive cut and edged components ready to assemble and use various saws to deliver the occasional bespoke item. Each job is different so you'll read drawings, follow written instructions, resolve problems, and fix hardware to ready your jobs for dispatch.
A skilled joiner, you're capable of much more than assembly and possess these attributes:
Trade qualified in Joinery, Furniture Making, or similar and willing to give bespoke jobs a go, working out the best way to approach them.
Quality-focused to deliver high-end work and efficient in your approach.
Skilled using saws and safety conscious.
A great communicator, you're positive and team-oriented to contribute to a social and happy workplace.
Although you won't do CNC or installation work with us, any experience will help to understand the entire process.

Our end-to-end service encompasses the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, office spaces, shelving, and cabinetry. NZ-owned, the head office and manufacturing facility are in Christchurch with three showrooms across Otago, and North Island capability.
Based in Hornby, you'll work from 7.30 – 4 pm with overtime available at time and a half over 45 hours.
