Site Traffic Management Supervisor - (STMS-ABC) - Tauranga Remarkable People are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) with Cat A, B, and C qualifications, to join our well-established client.
Job Description As a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS), you will be responsible for overseeing traffic management operations on various roadwork sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
This temporary position requires a candidate with Cat A, B, and C qualifications to manage complex traffic scenarios efficiently.
Location: Tauranga Position Type: Full-time Temp position Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and monitor traffic management plans.
Supervise and manage traffic control personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure traffic management practices are followed.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.
Respond to and manage any traffic-related incidents or emergencies.
Qualifications: Current and valid STMS qualification with Cat A, B, and C endorsements.
Proven experience in traffic management on roadwork sites.
Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Proficient in the use of traffic management planning software and tools.
Class 1 licence, Class 2 would be preferred.
