This temporary position requires a candidate with Cat AB qualifications to manage complex traffic scenarios efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and monitor traffic management plans.Supervise and manage traffic control personnel.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure traffic management practices are followed.Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.Respond to and manage any traffic-related incidents or emergencies.Qualifications:Current and valid STMS qualification with Cat AB.Proven experience in traffic management on roadwork sites.Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and safety standards.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.Proficient in the use of traffic management planning software and tools.Class 1 licence, Class 2 would be preferred.Skills and Attributes:Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Commitment to safety and quality.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.If you meet the qualifications and are eager to embrace a challenging and rewarding opportunity, apply today!
