Job Description: About the Role Based at Whangarei, this fast-paced, challenging role will allow you to showcase your commercial construction management experience and further develop these skills on this $100m development. Reporting to the Commercial Site Manager, you will be instrumental in the ongoing construction of the multi-level main building featuring a swimming pool and a memory care wing. As the Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Understanding the project brief, initiating and mobilising the resources necessary for successful project delivery. Assisting in developing and implementing the site-specific safety plan, ensuring the correct allocation of responsibilities. Directing, managing, and coordinating all labour contractors and suppliers in order to meet the project timeline, quality, and budget criteria. Working alongside and assisting Site Managers/Project Managers to plan the work programme, resolve any identified problems, and implement improvements. Completing records for site reports, including health and safety, adherence to project specifications, and review documentation. Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements and consistency with Summerset's processes and procedures. Qualifications: About You You will be a highly organised and proactive self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for construction management. To be successful, you will bring: At least one year of experience working as a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, or in a similar role. The ability to read, understand, and interpret construction plans and drawings. Technical management skills to establish project requirements. A relevant qualification is preferred; however, many years of similar work experience may suffice. Excellent knowledge of health and safety principles. Excellent interpersonal skills.
