Te turanga - The role and your impact
RBNZ is implementing a Site Reliability practice, and we are looking to appoint several experienced SRE practitioners to accelerate our adoption. This is an exciting opportunity for those who embrace automation, systems thinking, data informed decision making, and working as a team to evolve how we deliver services to our customers. The Site Reliability Engineers will build, support and manage infrastructure assets using modern practices and tooling, ensuring they are scalable, highly reliable and optimised.

O pukenga - About you
To be successful in one of these roles you'll have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years experience as an SRE in a mid to large organisation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders.

Strong experience with automation tools and practices (preferably Terraform) and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

In-depth experience with monitoring and observability tools (ideally Dynatrace).

Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on team development and knowledge sharing.

Demonstrated commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the DevOps and SRE domains.

Knowledge of cloud security best practices, data protection, and compliance regulations.

Strong emphasis on engineering rigor and quality assurance practices.
