About the role:
As an engineer on the Platform team, you will be responsible for building and improving our infrastructure and tools. You'll also contribute to the future internal platform products. You will work closely with fellow platform engineers, product managers, and other key stakeholders to devise innovative solutions.

How you will add value:
Contribute to raising the bar of what-good-looks-like within hipages Engineering
Design, development, and delivery of quality, maintainable platform tools
Creation of APIs which will be consumed both internally and externally
Writing clean, maintainable, testable code to support and enable the growth of the company
Participation in discussions of system design & architecture
Share your knowledge and skills with the team
About you:
We don't expect you to be expert in everything, but we do expect you to have a learning mindset!
2+ years of relevant SRE/DevOps/Platform engineering experience
Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
Experience working in an agile team (Scrum or Kanban)
Experience in scripting and writing automation, working with a CI/CD system
Understanding of Kubernetes and the software development lifecycle
Bonus if you have: Experience in a programming language (We use Python, PHP and Typescript)
Understanding of event-driven architectures
Experience deploying and managing distributed systems
Experience with XP techniques, such as pair programming or TDD
Understanding of microservices architecture
