Long established award winning prominent builder Penny Homes requires a Site Manager based in their Rotorua division. You will be responsible for managing multiple dwellings and activities, to assist in developing relationships with the client in accordance with the agreed business plan. Reporting to the regional Project Manager, this role will require site supervision and subcontractor supervision which includes all trades and subcontract crews.
The role will involve a combination of retrofit projects getting homes up to healthy home standard and new builds.
You will be expected to manage the schedule and progress of your allocated projects, ensuring that all timeframes & priorities are met, with no compromise to the standard of workmanship and quality of these homes. You will ensure that the company's brand is protected by delivering excellence in customer service, acting in the best interest of the company at all times.
This role will require you to have solid experience working in the residential construction sector, ideally coming from a trade background in carpentry and perhaps having reached a LBP certification. Due to the role being split between office and site, applicants will ideally need a good working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office and embrace CMMS software utilities by Penny Homes.
Paramount to this position are excellent communication skills, effectively liaising with your team, sub-contractors, and clients alike.

As you will be working with a variety of industry experts and dealing with clients, it is expected that you are capable of building strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
