The Role: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Christchurch, to take ownership for effectively managing the full project cycle for commercial projects. Key duties will include: Managing and developing working programmes to meet deadlines Ensuring projects are being completed within set budgets and target deadlines through planning the resources Reviewing and understanding drawings and specifications, identifying any missed information Regularly liaising with the client to ensure construction expectations are being managed Managing and mentoring the site team Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met Managing Quality Assurance to meet specifications requirement Ordering materials in detail to strategic quantities meeting site requirements Liaising with quantity surveyors for variations Coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers Advance planning for long lead material orders About You: You will be a strong communicator, able to lead and motivate others. Most importantly you will have a strong work ethic and a positive 'can-do' attitude. Experience managing commercial interior fit out projects is ideal as is experience in steel stud/suspended ceilings.
