We are on the hunt for a passionate people person to support our operational teams at our Turntable Hill Road Packhouse.
The kiwifruit industry provides a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no 2 days are the same. If you are an experienced HR coordinator/advisor seeking a role that will add to your breadth of knowledge, then this role is for you.
The Site HR Advisor will support our people and people leaders across the entire employee lifecycle, recruiting and onboarding permanent and seasonal employees, ensuring our people are paid correctly, handling various ER issues, and being part of some exciting people projects. This role is located at our Katikati site and has 2 direct reports (seasonal HR administrators) and, due to the operational requirements of the role, is required to be onsite throughout the work week.
Key responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment including interviewing, reference checks, and a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
Supporting the RSE programme and providing onsite Pastoral Care to seasonal employees.
Providing expert advice and support to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
Managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

About you
Ideal candidates will have the ability to build strong working relationships, be a great communicator, resilient, and hold great time management and organisational skills.
You'll have previous HR experience, a good understanding of NZ employment legislation, and working knowledge of ER and payroll processes (although full training will be provided).
