Sites Engineer – Taranaki
Are you a qualified Civil Engineer with knowledge of concrete structures looking to take your next career step and work on some really exciting projects? Do you want to get around this beautiful country and work on some of its less known critical infrastructure?
Here at Connell Contractors, we're looking for the right people who can get us the right result on our busy New Zealand wide sites. We need a Taranaki based Sites Engineer who can provide engineering support to our Regional Manager, site teams and clients. A good communicator, who understands how sites operate and who can make sure the teams have the right information and resources when they need it.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Site Engineer, you'll be tasked with working on our many projects, owning the management and coordination. Working to tight timeframes, and closely with our clients, you'll be forming the foundations of projects to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones. Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.
You will have:

A Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma.
New Zealand based experience working on civil sites and with concrete structures.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on team unity.
A strong commitment to Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental compliance onsite.
