Site Engineer
Overall Job Purpose:
The Site Engineer will provide survey and setting out information to enable designs to be processed and sites to construct the works.
As Site Engineer, you will carry out quality assurance checks as required, in accordance with our QA procedures.
Your responsibilities include providing clear, accurate engineering or setting out information within required time constraints, and liaising with site and development teams to ensure they understand the information given.
Additionally, you will monitor and check that the works are constructed to the correct position and levels.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
A satisfied site or development team that receives accurate and timely setting out or engineering input
A Customer that is confident that structures and buildings are set out and constructed incompliance with drawings and engineering specification
Put an engineering team in place to provide accurate and timely setting out or engineering input
Engagement with site teams at key stages of the project
Ensure setting out is delivered to a high quality and service and that engineering deliverables are closed out effectively and in a timely manner
Manage a rigorous Quality Assurance checking system that ensures the product is constructed in accordance with the drawings and specification
Work to the client culture and set an example by demonstrating the agreed values and behaviours in all interactions with the site team, including suppliers and customers
Engage in a culture that is underpinned by professionalism and quality
Experience and knowledge:
Has carried out work on a broad section of disciplines such as groundworks, RC structures, steelwork, and building and can demonstrate a clear comprehensive understanding in these areas
Experienced at working within a Rail and Civils environment
Excellent level of engineering experience
Proficient in use of CAD drawing tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £300.00 per day
