Responsibilities:
Project Management: Assist in planning and managing bulk earthworks projects, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
Site Supervision: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work is performed according to engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Coordination: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and inspection reports.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any technical or logistical challenges that arise on-site, implementing solutions promptly.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in bulk earthworks or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing earthmoving projects.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of earthworks techniques, machinery operation, and site management.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex issues and develop practical solutions.
Safety Awareness: Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
