This hands-on role is based in Christchurch and provides a departure from supervising subcontractors and administrative tasks, offering comprehensive training to help you evolve into a true engineer and reach your full potential.As a valued team member in our renowned company, specialising in innovative solutions in civil construction, you will assume a crucial role overseeing complex and challenging projects.
The role extends to value engineering, collaborating with the project team to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising HSQE outcomes whilst ensuring strict adherence to specifications and regulations.Effective communication is paramount, requiring collaboration with diverse stakeholders such as clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Maintaining open and transparent communication, addressing concerns, and fostering positive relationships with on-site crews are integral to our collaborative work environment.
The role demands adept problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve construction-related issues, implementing innovative solutions to meet project timelines.To ensure your success, you'll receive strong support from our experienced Project Managers and Senior Management to develop and execute project plans.
