The Role We are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to join our small dynamic team, and lead our showroom team.
The successful candidate will have a background in sales, design and delivering excellence in a showroom environment.
They will be at ease in a retail environment, meeting with customers for the first time, as well as reaching out to prospective customers.
This is a hands-on role where leadership will be best demonstrated through your own actions and results.
Responsibilities Deliver the best possible retail experience for all of our clients.
Research consumer trends and ensure we have products and solutions to meet them.
Hire, train, motivate, and lead a team of retail sales people.
Achieve showroom objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.
Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships.
Approach potential customers and share our story and product offering.
Install best practice sales systems across the business.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our wholesale and retail customer base.
Preferred skills and qualifications Experience leading a team in a retail environment.
A background in design, preferably an interior design qualification.
Proven sales leadership experience and a demonstrated record of sales delivery.
The ability to build rapport with people at all levels, and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Ability to work within and lead a team, and have a can-do attitude.
Be a self-starter with excellent time management, allowing you to work effectively by planning, prioritising and organising your workload.
A continuous learning approach.
Sound computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
