As a Showroom Designer, you won't just be selling products—you'll be creating experiences and building relationships.
You'll guide clients through every step of their design journey, offering tailored solutions to fit their style, functionality needs, and budget.
From helping craft the perfect kitchen to designing practical storage spaces, you'll help Kiwis transform their homes into spaces they'll love.
From concept to completion, you'll be their go-to for all things design.You will be responsible for:Client consultations based on their needs, design options, outcome for the project including budget requirements and specificationsIdentifying and advising on the selection of materials, fixtures, and finishes to ensure they meet client's aesthetic goals and functional requirementsDeveloping and presenting design concepts and providing accurate quotations based on agreed layout plans and drawingsManaging paperwork from creating client orders and handling overall procurement processes to meet project/order requirements while ensuring that optimum levels of stock is maintained within the departmentProcessing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers and their representatives regarding product information, pricing, remedials and resolving supply delays by finding alternative solutions in a timely mannerCoordinating stock checks and delivery for client orders ensuring that orders are accurately receipted and invoicedLiaising with project managers, installers, suppliers to ensure product specifications and timeframes are metMaintaining regular communication with clients regarding status of orders including installations progress dates and providing exceptional after sales service care to clients.Conducting site visits to do measurements, evaluate space layouts and assess issues that come up during or after installMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of quotations, client orders and producing reports as required for management reviewYou will need to have:At least 2 years in interior design, with a proven ability to create functional and visually appealing spacesTertiary level qualification or equivalent in interior design, architecture or a related field is essentialProficiency in industry-standard design tools allowing you to craft detailed layouts and bring ideas to lifeA high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skillsA flexible can-do attitude and a willingness to always go the extra mileProficiency in the use of MS Office, advanced computer skillsAbility to cope under pressure especially when working to tight deadlines to meet both client and business needsWhat we offer:This is a permanent full-time role, guaranteed 40 hours per week, Tuesday to SaturdayStaff buying privilegesPaid day anniversaryCompetitive Hourly Rate: $30-$32.00Inspire Kiwis to love where they live, work, and play.
