The opportunity!
Based at our successful Christchurch manufacturing plant, the Supervisor role is an important one that requires hands-on operational capability.
You will run a team of approximately 15 Glass Processing operators on the afternoon shift from 2:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Our ideal candidate will have leadership experience, a natural ability to influence and motivate others, be results-driven, and have a hunger to succeed.
You will balance operational commitments and customer needs to ensure a smooth operation.
What you're there to do: Lead decision making throughout your shift, managing labour, machinery, and operational issues Drive throughput and quality Problem solve issues and address them quickly Champion health and safety and compliance Skills, characteristics & experience you'll bring: Trade or degree qualifications in manufacturing or engineering are desirable but not essential Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment, leading a team Accountability - own your decisions and actions Demonstrated knowledge of CI methodology and mindset How to apply: We want to hear from you!
