About the role Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment?
Join our team as a Shift Supervisor where you'll lead a dynamic group of 12 operators in our Finish Hall.
You'll get the opportunity to work with a close-knit team and work on a rostered shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights (12-hour shifts) and then four days off.
Handling everything from payroll approvals, absenteeism and disciplinary issues, conduct performance evaluations, and lead recruitment efforts.
Implement quality control and food safety protocols, including HACCP standards, to maintain product quality and safety.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement for raw materials, and minimize inventory wastage.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Conduct inspections, implement safety protocols, and provide training on safe practices.
Conduct training, evaluate performance, and identify development opportunities for staff.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control measures, and deviations from standard procedures.
Bring your problem-solving skills to the table as you troubleshoot equipment issues and implement efficiency improvements to minimize downtime.
