Shift Manager - Powder Production

An excellent opportunity for a Shift Manager has become available. This is a fantastic position for someone to bring their existing spray dryer and dairy processing experience. This role has a huge amount of scope to build on your existing dairy experience, with heaps of opportunity to grow and develop further within the industry.
About the Role
This role is key in driving plant, people, and processes within the Yashili powder production plant. In addition to being pivotal in delivering high-quality product in line with the production schedule on a daily basis, the role is expected to use their knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to generate improved plant performance over time - developing high-performing teams through engagement and building capability is key. The role is expected to take a cross-shift perspective on plant performance and to drive improvements in a coordinated manner with their peers. The hours will be 12-hour shifts - 4 on and 4 off.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong technical capability coupled with great collaborative leadership skills. Below is what we'd like you to bring:
Essential:
At least 2 years manufacturing leadership experience
High level communication skills
Quality and Health & Safety Practices
Computer Literate with exposure to ERP systems
Preferred:
Engineering or Food Technology degree
Lean Manufacturing
Infant Formula Powder Knowledge
Dairy Powder Knowledge
