Shift Manager

Full-time (minimum 30 hours and maximum 40 hours/week) Permanent Role
Wage - $30/hour
 
Must have at least 12 months of relevant work experience or a minimum diploma-level qualification in hospitality/management/business.
 
(Non citizens/residents will be required to provide evidence that they have at least a Bachelor Degree, three years of relevant work experience or a Relevant diploma for the purpose of work visa.)
 
Follow instructions of the manager to achieve all financial targets allocated by the restaurant as per the annual operating plan and/or quarterly forecasts.
• Follow instructions of the manager to Manage COGs %, food waste, labour, cash variance, and all other semi variables ensuring targets are achieved.
• Accurate reporting complete in a timely manner.
• Operate within established guidelines for expenditure and approval authority,
• Ensure that approval is obtained from Manager/Owner where required.
• Provide an excellent level of customer service and drive a customer service culture across the store.
• Be responsible for running shifts and train and coach staff and drive performance.
• Provide input towards staffing and stock requirements.
• Resolve simple and basic complaints of the customers.
• Resolve simple conflicts within staff members. 
• Assist staff members at busy times.
 
 
• This role requires working on weekends and closing the store on some days.
