Our award-winning quality brands enjoy significant and growing customer and consumer recognition.We are seeking a Shift leader for our Smallgoods AM Department.Ideally you will have prior meat processing experience and be able to demonstrate skills in managing and maintaining processes within a HACCP environment.Shift Time: 5:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, working 40 hours per weekWhile reporting to our department supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 30 staff per shift. You will have previous experience in leading a team in a processing operation and demonstrate the following attributes:Proven ability to manage a team to achieve production targets with minimum wastage and within the quality standardsAble to manage the team and the machinery/equipment from set up and operation, through to stripping and cleaningAble to problem solve technical delaysAble to manage production schedule, planning timeframes and staffing requirements to ensure production plans are metSafety focused, you will communicate targets to staff and monitor performance, leading by example in safe working practicesComputer literate, you will be able run yield reports and manage productions records and stock takingYou will set the standard for hygiene ensuring staff maintain critical control points and shift cleaning requirements achieve micro-biological standardsStrong leadership, aligned with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you are an experienced and successful process improver and problem solverIf you are interested in this role, please email your CV and cover letter to ******
