We are seeking a Shift Leader for our Smallgoods AM Department.
Shift Time: 5:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, working 40 hours per week.
While reporting to our department supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 30 staff per shift.
You will have previous experience in leading a team in a processing operation and demonstrate the following attributes: Proven ability to manage a team to achieve production targets with minimum wastage and within the quality standards.
Able to manage the team and the machinery/equipment from set up and operation, through to stripping and cleaning.
Able to problem solve technical delays.
Able to manage production schedule, planning timeframes and staffing requirements to ensure production plans are met.
Safety focused, you will communicate targets to staff and monitor performance, leading by example in safe working practices.
Computer literate, you will be able to run yield reports and manage production records and stock taking.
You will set the standard for hygiene ensuring staff maintain critical control points and shift cleaning requirements achieve microbiological standards.
Strong leadership, aligned with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you are an experienced and successful process improver and problem solver.
